| The General Flying Progress Test or GFPT is the first step in becoming a pilot. Training begins with the essentials of piloting an aeroplane such as, climbing, descending, turning and how to take off and land. You will then move on to further areas of training such as steep turns, basic instrument flight and advanced aircraft handling skills as well as embarking on many solo flights out to the training area for practice. These flights are great fun and allow you to build confidence flying the aeroplane alone. The GFPT is a very challenging and rewarding stage of your flight training. You will be learning new concepts and skills but most importantly we’ll make sure you’ll have a great time along the way. On completion of the course you will be able to fly with passengers as Pilot in Command inside the Jandakot training area, A fantastic opportunity to share your love of flying and demonstrate your new skills to friends and family. |
